I read a report from a former WH staffer of his who said the only way they could get him to say a line that might work was by saying, âRemember that rally when you said that line, and the crowd went mad, they loved it so much? We think it would go down a storm if you said it againâ and then they would feed him a line that heâd never said in his life, that they wanted him to say.
It must have been an absolute clusterfuck to work for him at that level.
