I have felt a sense of dread in the last few months, with a hunch that Trump would win this one, but yesterday I sensed for the first time that the scales have tipped for a Democratic victory. I sense that the GOP is in a quiet panic, most likely as a result of internal polling.
Part of me wants to think this, part of me does think this. Part of me thinks thereâs a big silent Harris vote out there. Basically all of me says in a free and fair election, Harris wins.
The demographic of the early votes in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Georgia is women +14, +13 and +12 respectively.
But I donât know. I canât get past the idea of a rigged election. One of the reasons the Republicans always go on about rigged elections is because not only do they very much like the idea of rigging elections and very likely plan to actually rig the vote, but they get a reflex reaction from Democrats of âthereâs no rigging, thereâs no evidenceâ.
And of course thereâs no evidence of vote rigging by the Democrats, because it doesnât happen.
Whereas everything about Trump and his backers suggests a vote rigging operation.
