Iâm not entirely sure what Harris could have done differently. She did her best, America just didnât want her.
Iâm no expert like a lot of the lads here, but just at a glance Iâd suggest:
Push Joe earlier. Contest the Primaries.
Distance herself from Joe, claim the wins, disclaim the losses. Make herself stand out a little more.
Ducking Rogan (I cant believe the guy from Fear Factor has such influence) doesnt look good in hindsight.
Go after Trump stronger.
But Iâm sure she has a lot of well paid advisors who had thought the process through.

Fascists and totalitarians are always teflon. They hijack the information landscape by creating a world of fantasy.
This was true before the INTERNET existed. Itâs so much easier to do it with the INTERNET around now than without it before.
Hitler was put in prison for the Beer Hall Putsch. It seems clear that many people now think Hitler should not have been put in prison at all for that, never mind the question of his quick release.
They were afraid to say something seemingly so ludicrous before, but now they will, because theyâve demonstrated that was their view when Trump did something even more serious - invade a democratic parliament and attempt to overthrow it. And now Trump is in power and all the lid will come off the real opinions.
FDR came in and broke up the big oil companies because they were a monopoly. He put regulations on the banks so that it would no longer be possible for banks to simply go bust and for peopleâs savings to go up in smoke through no fault of their own.
Social media and media ownership is the equivalent issue today. There is nobody in America or internationally with the will to go in and do what needs to be done - to take these instruments which poison society out of the hands of fascist billionaires.
The people we in western democracies tasked with maintaining democracy, justice, human rights and basic freedoms have been asleep on the job for decades, they do not understand history and they have had a total lack of imagination and anticipation - informed by history - for how fascist power consolidates its iron grip.

Well my point is was that the past few days the narrative was that women were turning out and voting in numbers for Harris, the insinuation being that they would of course they would support a woman just because. The same lazy analysis was applied when Hillary Clinton ran.
My reference to Tattle was that women can be vindictive and jealous of their own, perhaps moreso than men. There are plenty of anti abortionists amongst the fairer sex also who wouldnât have had much time for Harrisâ stance on that issue.
History tells us (e.g. Thatcher, Merkel) that any future female president will more than likely come from a Conservative/Republican standpoint; it would take a very special candidate on the Democrat side to get the votes required to get to the White House.

Any even vaguely progressive woman or person of colour - especially any vaguely progressive woman of colour - is painted as dangerous and an extremist. The right wing bullshit machine made of up of hysterical extremists ensures they cannot win by bogusly painting the woman/person of colour as hysterical extremists when they are in fact theyâre likely to be a bog standard centre-right liberal.
Then they wonder why, say, the Labour party in Britain hasnât a had a leader who isnât a white man.
Obama only won because he was a once in a lifetime superman of an orator, the most gifted speaker any of us have ever experienced. Because he was squeaky clean. Because he echoed Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela and Gandhi, the three âacceptableâ heroes of colour white racists love to embrace and namecheck.
Martin Luther King and Gandhi were assassinated. Mandela was locked up in prison for 27 years. Obama wasnât and because he had the cheek to become president while being publicly black, provoked a white backlash so strong in America that it has ushered us into a period of genuine fascism.
If Martin Luther King had not been shot dead by a white racist, he too would have become the greatest hate figure among whites in general in America. If Mandela had not been locked up for 27 years and was not a gifted orator who was seen to make whitey feel better about whiteyâs oppression of him, he would be utterly vilified too.

Both Irish living in America. Both delighted Trump won.
First is a builder around Boston who mainly works for affluent people âinvolved in the marketsâ.
Second was what sounded like a horrendous cunt who was happy that the brakes were put on the left. She was home recently and ranted against the media for being anti Trump and also complained that immigrants in Ireland were getting cars.
Joe was out of time so didnât correct her.
