Thatā€™s lovely SS. Was it from a secret admirer?

Isnt that what the internet is for?

and then on friday morning sheā€™ll be off into Boots chemist for the morning after pill

Silly girl, double dose of the pill would do her just fine.

Thatā€™s what happens to the kids of compulsive gamblers, they also become risk takers hut its not a good idea to take chances with regards sexual health.

What a beautiful day it is today. Birds singing, sun shining. Itā€™s great to be alive lads.

roses are red, violets are glorious but dont try and surprise Oscar Pistorious.

itā€™s night time here, but the polar star looks so bright

My work colleague being the eager young beaver that he is told me that its 50 Euro for 12 roses in his local florist but just 30 euro across the road in LIDL.

God bless them Germans.

I told the nice girl in the Oā€™Brienā€™s that it was my birthday tomorrow and she gave me a free chocolate muffin along with my bagel.
I then passed the muffin on to my special ladyfriend as her Valentineā€™s Day gift.

Job done.

There were a lot of ugly women in possession of bouquets of roses this evening on the way home from work. Some men are dirty, dirty dogs.

No mate, I actually printed one off the internet and used it though. It was a bit flimsy so I reinforced it with a second page of A4 printer paper, giving it a double sheet effect. Of course I also had to buy a rather large envelope (10 for ā‚¬2) so the total cost came to about ā‚¬0.30 plus labour. Pretty cost effective really. I also pointed out to the young lady in my message that it was ā€˜quality guaranteedā€™ so there could be no quibble in that regard. All in all I feel the whole enterprise was a success and will consider using these cards for birthdays, weddings etc while this downturn continues.
Phil, Phil, Philā€¦ What kind of basis is that to form a relationship on. Sure, there is nothing like spontaneous gestures of love, I should know as I provide my lady with them regularly. But if you canā€™t engage in romance on this most sacred day for lovers you both are at nothingā€¦ I mean why provide hallmark with cash on birthdays, or Christmas?? It could go on and on if you wanted to be so cynicalā€¦ We do these things for love, pal. Not to revolt against some multinationalā€¦

Iā€™ve the roses ordered anyway. Iā€™ve thrown in tickets to the lion king also. I wonā€™t see her till Saturday, so dinner will be on hold until then. But the look on her face after I spoil her, you canā€™t buy that Phil mate, and thatā€™s what it is all about.
It seems to me that the look on her face has set You back about 200 plus there. If thats not buying it what is?
