I attended the County Minor Final today in picturesque Walsh Park.

Ballygunner 0-16 Mount Sion 0-15.
In truth Ballygunner should have won this easily. The wide count was 17-3 but a game Monastery outfit made the most of the scraps they got and in the end the Gunners were hanging on for dear life and baying for the whistle.
The best player on the field was Ballygunner ās Tadhg Foley son of the late Paul who was imperious at centre back.
