Waterford Hurling (now incorporating intermediate football) 2013 and subsequent years

Whatā€™s your prediction mate? 15, 20 points.

Prunty will need to do a job on Pauric Mahony and Furry will need to do untold. Fraher Field definitely an advantage but realistically Ballygunner will win by 10 points minimum.

From a coaching/administration point of view they are a much better organised outfit than the Waterford County Board.

Windy, exposed ground is Fraher Field.

Abbeyside 0-5 Ballygunner 0-3 after 22 minutes. Abbeyside hurling like men possessed so far.

Ballygunner by 0-9 to 0-6 at half time. Went up a few gears last 10 minutes.

Good few players have been culled by Fanning in the past week

Who?

Jake Dillon, Tommy Ryan, Ian Kenny and Peter Hogan the names I heard.

Heā€™s after calling up an 18 year old from his own club mount sion.

Tommy Ryan is well worth his place on any county panel . A lovely hurler .

Iā€™d be very surprised if Tommy Ryan has been cut.

Besides Ozzie, Mt Sion havenā€™t produced an underage hurler in 10yrs
Iā€™d be surprised about Tommy Ryan and maybe Jake Dillon, Kenny was way down on the panel and Hogan is permanently injured

Hogan sustained a shocking hand injury in a challenge vs Sixmilebridge a few weeks back. Not sure if/when heā€™ll be back.

The culprit received a 6 month ban courtesy of referee Fergal Horgan.

I was shocked too when I heard Tommy Ryan was cut

Tommy Ryan doesnā€™t have what it takes for inter county hurling.

He got goals against Cork, Limerick and Clare in the championship this year.

Jake Dillon isnā€™t top class but heā€™s a serious workhorse and Iā€™d be surprised if he isnā€™t in the 30 best hurlers in Waterford.

Tommy Ryan has improved in recent years.

thought he played well this year

Fanning off to a rough start.

Couple of players walking away and then thereā€™s the social media activity of certain Ballygunner players.

Although this could be about some dual minor issue thatā€™s going on too
