Jesus Wexford were back training for 1960 early. I assume the league started in the autumn back in those days? It paid off anyway as they won Liam the following year with their most convincing final victory ever.
Itâs lucky it was straight knockout back then or Waterford wouldnât have finished their club championships until the following year. No Munster club deadlines in 1959 of course.
