Says he learned a lot by talking to EPL managers. Philosophy of Celticās football attracted him to job. Fans can expect honesty, committment. Compliments Strachan calls us Glasgow Celtic. Priorities are domestic and Europe. Big attraction is family values, job carries intensity, so donāt need pressure coming from Reid and Lawell which it hasnāt. Looking forward to getting on training ground. Working with good players means they get message quicker. Had long chat with Lennon. Happy for him to continue. Will let it evolve.

Lawell - Showed his intelligence, emotional connection with club, values he holds, delighted offer accepted. Done over three weeks. Most important appointment at club. Doesnāt think three weeks was excessive time to make appointment.
Reid - Thinks three weeks is acceptable. Knows people who could do it in three days.
Mowbray - Mark delighted. Peter only worked this year, been hugely impressed with him. Invited him for a week at WBA. Could see how intense he was. Finished in top ten of EPL as assistant at West Ham. Thorough guy. As a player he always wanted things done right. Chemistry is right within staff.
Need different personalities to manage different players. Three personalities as staff means can manage players.
Loyalty important factor. Talk about relationships and players showing loyalty to WBA. Strong bond between players and staff at WBA. Problems at WBA as season went on. He has to enjoy going into work everyday. Had become a bit strained. Takes on job with clear conscience.
Message to Celtic fans - Get message every week. Work, professionalism, hopefully they will enjoy, hope to send them home or watching on tv that they like to wear their shirts.
Would like to build a team that can compete at all levels. Wants to be feared and respected in Europe. Like to think student of game. Watches European football. Put together a team that can punch above ite weight at Europe. Other teams have to realise that when Celtic have the ball they can punish them and when other team has the ball Celtic have to be organised.
Thanks Larry. Like to think heāll follow through on most of that or at least intend it anyway. One of my major grievances with Strachan was that he talked about the value of good footballers but he never had the courage to go with our best creative players in big games - either in Europe or in the SPL. Mowbray is definitely more committed to his footballing ethos, hopefully he can sustain that commitment at Celtic.

Mowbray says he doesnāt want to say whole squad should go but after 2 and a half years at WBA there were only 2 players left. Would like to think there is a history of teams managed that supporteres will enjoy watching team. Goes back when at WBA fans stayed behind and applauded team after they were relegated.
