Rocko, is it really necessary to have those two messages asking about soccer prediction and logging in to flash up EVERYTIME I load a page. Why not have some music as well that automatically starts like a geocities site from 1999 - that would really add to it.
I am getting tapatalk push notifications even though I am not logged in through tapa. Just the normal app. How can I switch these off!
The logging one is annoying but its purpose is to make guests either register or log in or to stop reading after a while. The website is creaking a bit recently with traffic and there are too many lurkers hanging around without registering/posting etc.
I forgot to disable the other one but will do so later. It can be dismissed though, by hitting “Dismiss” and it won’t pop up again.
That’s a bit of a crossover between tapatalk and the normal app. Not exactly sure why but it may have been caused by work I was doing on the iOS app at the weekend. You should be able to disable them from the TFK App.
Any idea how? Thought I had done it by disabling tapatalk notifications on iPad settings but appears not
Right I’ve tried to resolve something at the server end which might help. Will probably take a while to kick in. But there may have been old push notifications being sent that I’ve tried to disable. The new iOS app will send push notifications but they can be disabled at your end in settings. That’s not approved by Apple yet though.
The Soccer Predictions notification is now disabled.

If I have 3 alerts and I click on the red square the 3 alerts are shown. When I click into 1, the 3 disappears and there is no red square even though I have still to read 2 alerts.
Obviously not a biggie but I can forget I have alerts particularly if I get pulled into another thread.

Yeah the alerts disappear when you read them. I think it would be more annoying if the number only decreased when you actioned them. You don’t want to have to click on every post that’s been rated just to reset your alerts. I take your point but I think the alternative would be more annoying.
