Wexford GAA 2010
Bandage,

What is you opinion on the latest Wexford Hurling “issue”. Hope it is just bull.
I don’t know anything about it to be honest but I’ll get in touch with some people who should know. I presume you’re referring to this apparent Oulart-The Ballagh versus Eamonn Scallan stand off?

I presume it’s the ‘load of players getting dropped by way of being blanked by Bonnar’ issue.

Who cares anyway, I just want them back in Croke Park so we can have a few weekends in Coppers, the supporters were the real victims last year.

Nail on the head. I remember going into Copper’s with Stevie G the night we lost to Dublin down in Kilkenny. It seemed utterly wrong not to be hitting the old place direct from some pub up by Croker.

while i look forward to a summer of sundays in coopers post wexford games i hope we county board gets its way in bringing the dubs to wexford park for the first game of the football championship

Former Wexford county player Peter O’Dwyer will be playing in his third Munster club final in a couple of weeks.

Wexford football manager Jason Ryan has been dealt a double blow with the news that veterans Philip Wallace and Paddy Colfer have retired from inter-county football.

Both men were key figures in the Model County’s surprise run to last year’s All-Ireland semi-final, with Wallace being an inspirational figure at full back.

Ryan is already planning for the National League without PJ Banville, who suffered a broken leg in a recent soccer match, while fellow attacker Matty Forde admitted last week that he may not play at all next season due to an ongoing back problem.

Ryan has added former Kildare footballer Paul McLoughlin as well as Diarmuid O’Hanlon to his backroom team for the coming season. They join Pat Barden and Gerry Fox as selectors following Seamus Kenneally’s decision to step down.

Both the Wexford football and hurling managements for 2010 were ratified at last night’s county board meeting.

Is it true Ciaran Lyng has suffered the same fate as Matty and Larry O?

do you drain the energy out of everyone that meets you?

Both those who meet me and talk to me online
