What is you opinion on the latest Wexford Hurling âissueâ. Hope it is just bull.[/quote]
I donât know anything about it to be honest but Iâll get in touch with some people who should know. I presume youâre referring to this apparent Oulart-The Ballagh versus Eamonn Scallan stand off?
Nail on the head. I remember going into Copperâs with Stevie G the night we lost to Dublin down in Kilkenny. It seemed utterly wrong not to be hitting the old place direct from some pub up by Croker.
while i look forward to a summer of sundays in coopers post wexford games i hope we county board gets its way in bringing the dubs to wexford park for the first game of the football championship
Wexford football manager Jason Ryan has been dealt a double blow with the news that veterans Philip Wallace and Paddy Colfer have retired from inter-county football.
Both men were key figures in the Model Countyâs surprise run to last yearâs All-Ireland semi-final, with Wallace being an inspirational figure at full back.
Ryan is already planning for the National League without PJ Banville, who suffered a broken leg in a recent soccer match, while fellow attacker Matty Forde admitted last week that he may not play at all next season due to an ongoing back problem.
Ryan has added former Kildare footballer Paul McLoughlin as well as Diarmuid OâHanlon to his backroom team for the coming season. They join Pat Barden and Gerry Fox as selectors following Seamus Kenneallyâs decision to step down.
Both the Wexford football and hurling managements for 2010 were ratified at last nightâs county board meeting.
