Funny that considering he plays midfield for Fethard.
is jim byrne your source?
KIB bringing up Jim Byrne thing again B)
when boccy was brought on tho he was outplayed for high balls. when he really has only one thing he can do, and cant do it, its hard for him to be any way effective. fogey may have been quiet enough, but he was better with the ball than Waters was. Daithi did a lot of work breaking up their posession, but he was careless when in his own hands. Fogey got a thru a good bit of ball, albeit a lot within our own 45.
definitely think Brosnan should have been on earlier.
I thought Brosnan was injured? Should have been on earlier/started if he wasnāt.
Boccy was no use when he came on. Aindreas Doyle pretty much lost most ball he carried all day.
Brian Malone had a bad day at the office too.
i think andy doyle is too light for this level, would have started morrissey albeit he didnt do a whole lot when he came on.
feel sorry for molloy, didnt think he did badly at all yet his man got 2-4, could be a case of me wathcing the game through james, tinted glasses too though.
yeah it was a weird one about Molloy. I didnt think he was bad either, but his man getting 2-4 is a bad tally to concede. he was caught bad for the goals, ball watching a bit, made a burst for the first one expecting it to go over the heads of the other players, but it didnt, and was caught ball watching as it hopped off the post for the other. some of the points tho were good scores that you just have to say well done to the forward. heāll get better tho, its not as if he has years of playing at full back.
only his 3rd championship start there i think gman. do you know was brosnan injured or jsut not played? only fella i saw running at the goal all day.
I saw him togged out for the hogs in a challenge match recently (but not playing), and was told by one of their lads that only mutley was injured, but ben wasnt playing as the Wex game was coming up. I know ben was carrying a bit of a hamstring strain, but as far as I know, it wasnt enough to keep him out of the game, so not sure really why he wasnt used more. he looked sharp and speedy when he was on anyway, and like you say, was making inroads directly at goal. Roche isnt really a goal man, great for points, and PJ twists and turns too much to be a poacher. Ben I thought would have been ideal for the last 10 mins of normal time.
yeah would definitely agree there, roche has a serious left peg and if he was bit bulkier would be better on the wing. saw brosnan score an unreal goal in the park against the anns,i think, last year he has a cannon for a boot.
Brosnanās goal was against Horeswood that time-one of the best Iāve seen anyway. Disappointed not to see him playing-Lyng and Banville were disappointing.
Weāre still being killed at midfield though-thatās the area weāre struggling now for a long time-Bradley gave Fennell a lesson there alright but he was bollixed by the end and didnāt have much help from Waters throughout.

I see Mark Moloney is both playing and listed in the substitutes. I think itās actually Mark Molloy thatās starting.
Thereās also news filtering up to the capital from Wexford that Baby Spot scored 4-4 for the Sarsfields last night ā Kilmore are roughly the same standard as some of Dublinās players so Paul Murphy should have been starting for Wexford on Sunday and Kevin Gore should have been too.
Bandage, both Spot Murphys are shite. Move on.
Mac, disagreed and no.
Waters was far too careless with the ball alright, brainless stuff at times. Hopefully heāll learn from it, cause to be hinest, we just do not have anybody too come in for him, i dont know what anybody sees in Boccy Dolyle, heās useless, i donāt think heād make my own club team so why heās near the Wexford panel iāll never know. Rocheās point in the 2nd half to put us one ahead was pure class, heās in and out of games the whole time too though, needs to be more consistent over the 70.
Regarding the intermediate team, is that Kavanagh that started corner back under Meyler? He seemed like a good hurler at the time, terribly injury-prone though from what i can remember??
as a jamesā man, i must come out in defence of boccy doyle, the man didnt start the game due to injury and ryan didnt think he would last the 70 to then expect him to win it for us in extra time this year.
People seem to froget his man of the match performance against down in 08 and another few great showings that year. It seems far too easy to say hes useless when he doesnt pluck every ball fomr the sky during a game.
he does have his off days like every player, he was immense in our first round game aginst the martins the same game where daith waters was marked out of the game by a 19 year old.
you must have a good club tema gavin, that or you know very little about footballl.
Will Greg be instructed to go long and deep with every delivery tonight?
Intermediates were losing 0-11 to 0-7 at half time in Wexford Park. Awaiting a full time score.
Lost 2-16 to 0-13. Shocking result given thatās our second string, in theory, and Kilkenny are restricted in who they can pick. They probably had creamers from Inistioge playing for crying out loud.
