Wexford GAA 2010

How was Greg’s performance?

He was exposed throughout, only touched two balls.

Exactly, great game against Down in 08, 2 years ago, its now we need him. If he doesnt pluck every ball then what does he do? He can’t run, not a great passer, doesnt move from the middle of the field, just isnt a county footballer IMO. Same with Daithi Waters, just isnt mobile enough for the way midfield is played nowadays, gone are the days where you caught a ball, layed it off and job was done.

Club team is good alright.

gavin do you know any midfielder at intercounty level who plucks every ball? cant run? ask anyone on the panel he is consistently winning all the sprints. do you watch much of the county team playing his passing is also very consistent nothing spectacular just gets the ball to the man hes looking for.

how he isnt moblile enough for midfield and kerry play with quirke, i think youve got an ideal midfielder in your head truth be told it isnt boccy. all teams need a fetcher and a runner bradley in our case being the runner. and obviously a must whether he is partnered with waters or boccy the next day time will tell. i wouldnt have fogarty near it. was ont for 40 mins and barely touched the ball.

anyway im sick of cheerleading. out of interest whats your club?

:o

well anything 15 yards or more padjo, my apologies for not qualifying the above statement.

That will be them extra long legs in action

Boccy doesn’t win many sprints to the showers anyway I’d say!

hi yoooooooooo

I’m not happy with Wexford’s squad depth. I don’t think the manager exhausts all the options to get the best players in the county onto the panel. And the substitutions, one in particular, constantly baffles and I guess most people know the reason why it’s made game after game.

i concur with you summation bando, cost us about 1-4 the last day.

Hold on, what use is a fella who’s fast over 15 yards going to be if he can’t kick a fooking ball properly? Take off your club biased tinted glasses man. If Boccy was from another county we’d all be laughing (more) at him.

no, no i wont. so there.

who says he cant kick a ball properly?
