No, quite the opposite. Like most townie scum they couldnt take their beating from a well drilled rural side, it somewhat rankled them. comical really.
Mustâve been after I finished up with them so (2005/6 onwards) as most of the lads on the team when I played werenât townies. The townie attitude annoyed the hell out of us.

Cathal Dunbar in for Shane Murphy is the only Wexford change for tonightâs Leinster U21 final. The final at the same venue in 2013 was the epic affair, which Wexford won after extra time. I canât recall how we fared in the All Ireland series that year.
