What is it about JJ Doyle that he gets such success out of his teams in sports and ladies hobbies? McDonald and Ryan aside the team would be of the same standard as many before them but the belief and confidence these lads have is unreal, unbelievable.

Ideally we’d have wanted a better test before facing Antrim. We won’t have learned much from tonight. It’s not nice to see Kilkenny hurling in such a state either. Hurling needs a strong Kilkenny.
