Canāt believe heās still looking at him out there
Its years at this stage and still not showing anything to say hed be a regular contributer to the squad depth
Sometimes lads have to be let play themselves off a teamā¦. Dunbar has been doing that for years though
John Mullane picked out Dunbar as one of Wexfordās better players on the radio. I had my doubts
Aftertiming alert but I mentioned yesterday that selection wasnāt very exciting when I could/should have said uninspiring. Looking at the forward unit, it had a few grafters and a couple of fast lads who are limited in terms of hurling and decision making. There wasnāt really a natural scoring threat and there was also an absence of the heft you need to get results in February (Jack OāConnor types). Weāre not really going to trouble anyone without Chin and ROC, while Richie Lawlor is a wildcard in the forwards that could be the difference in us being the eighth or fifth best side in the country. Hopefully heās back soon. I only saw the second half but the Galway backs had it very easy. We also have plenty of work to do in defence and midfield!
Was he watching it on the radio?
Thatās a fairly uninspiring football team
Conor Foley is the only new player sticking his hand up for a starting placeā¦ Yeah, thereās fuck all new ladsā¦ Another year, another shit free taker.
It is. Martin Oā Connor and Donal Shanley are big losses too. The forward line is really lacking natural scorers. Surprised John Turbritt isnāt starting.
Is there any 9.5/10 free takers on the Wexford club scene?
OāConnor gone to learn the deutsche for the year is he?
Working out there I think.
Ross Banville or Joe Coleman probably the best free-takers.
That was as bad a half of hurling Iāve ever seen. Played tennis with the Galway half back line. Charlie McGuckian is turning into a right work horse and well able to pick some scores out. McGovern and OāKeeffe looked way off. McDonald looked like a lad who thought he was better than he is. His free taking style is rancid. Dunbar was awful. Dwyer disappeared at half time.
Damien Reck is one of the few bright spots. Shaneās injury didnāt look great based on his body language going off. Isnāt it a troublesome hamstring he normally has?
Joeās still in the squad. Hope they give the man a run.
I think the lads are done.
Heās made a career out of it
5 points from play against the KK B team and he thought he was a superstar.
Too early to be writing lads off but i do understand where your coming from.
Anyone hear what the craic with the fire was after? Something about a generator.
It looks like you picked an opportune time for your support for Wexford GGA to wane
