Wexford GAA 2023 🐐

U20s missing a few of their key players, lads who have been subs on the senior team. makes fuck all difference in this round robin where no one gets eliminated, but they are lads pushing for senior spots.

Surprised if McGuckin doesnt start. Egan has started him in every game for the last 2 years, so would expect him to be in, particularly as he has been playing better this year. I’m still not sold on Dunbar. Foley straight in is another one, but will see how it goes. Lots of rumours on Fanning, hard to know what the truth is. Who was playing the soccer last week?

Barntown B team seemingly and Charlie Mc starting instead of Conor Mc.

Fanning played the soccer?

Conor Mac is one lad playing off reputation too, so I wouldnt mind that move.

Yes, heard that on Tuesday and he didn’t train Tuesday night either.Must have decided to pack it in when realised he wasn’t going to be starting.

On paper is the key phrase…

Ryan and MOH haven’t done much hurling this year

Wexford underage gaa = fur coat no knickers.

That could be applied to Wexford at senior level too tbh. When does the knockout action begin at U20? 2 weeks time?

You’re right. And it doesn’t matter. We’re going no where, and no where fast at that.

Wouldnt get at all hung up about that result tonight. Missing 3 starters who are subs on the senior panel, our 2 starting corner backs out injured too. Thats a lot missing in a dead rubber game where they were competitive. Cillian Byrne came on in the second half and got 2 excellent scores. Only turned 18 this year so he has another 2 years after this season left in this grade. Thats 3 games now to find their starting team for knock out, hopefully the 5 lads out will be good to go in the next phase

Yeah decent showing in the circumstances though Corey Byrne Dunbar did well too, goal was well worked good run by Luke Murphy and finish by Jack Redmond.

Add Cian Byrne and Oisin Pepper to those 3 and thats a quality forward line there.

Absolutely although Murphy could end up midfield, forward line could be 2 Byrnes, Pepper, Byrne Dunbar, Jack Redmond and O’Hagan. Galway were short Tiernan Kileen and Liam Collins tonight but we were short a fair whack in Eoin Whelan, Michael Dundon, Conor Foley, Cian Byrne and Oisin Pepper. Diarmuid O’Leary is out for the championship and could have pushed for the team too.

Right so boys. I’m just getting fucked off us getting bet. Let’s see how it goes.

To be fair to him heard since there’s more to Fanning leaving then being dropped for tomorrow, non hurling stuff.

Lee Chin is not starting

Chin doesn’t start vs Galway, second year in a row.

Its a big blow that.

Is he on the bench?

Who will be on the frees?

Rory O’Connor I’d imagine.

Good odds on him to get a few scores.
