Rapps and Ferns ending long waits for a senior title was a factor too obviously. Ferns wouldâve been dragged out of the pub for the Leinster game with the current timeline. In saying that youâd have expected Rapps to put up a better showing against Clough-Ballacolla and Gorey surely couldâve replicated St Mullins respectable defeat against KK at the weekend.
Gorey last year were basically playing KK without there 3 and 14 as Eoin Molloy was in Australia and Conor Mc shouldnât have played with a back injury, Jake Firman has actually gone back to Australia since the county final, Joe OâConnor came in for him on Sunday.
