The last 5 minutes of the 1996 All Ireland came up after that. Jesus we were lucky/shocking when the pressure was on at the end.
Jesus that was 21 years ago
I know. We’ve really built on it since. But we have 1 in 22 years which is more than many counties.
But what about Cody hitting the ground? Tremenjus.
Glad that coaches are in their zones now. Cody looked shook during the AI final that year too
There is a leinster league game on beforehand, maybe that’s why pal. Having a curtain raiser gave them more scope to increase capacity. Safety concerns are mainly for entering the ground and turnstiles, so the longer the entrance time, the better.
What is the actual capacity? Is it 20,000? It’s ridiculously low.
I’ve heard very conflicting info from reliable sources lately. One current GGA administrator told me that the park were stating the capacity for this game will be set at 20,100 or so. However another GGA administrator on the development committee said it’s nearer 18k and that they have never had that amount before in the park, despite previously published attendances.
Such a waste of concrete. It won’t even look full on Saturday evening if it’s only 18,000.
Health and safety has the country ruined.
Is it too late to switch the game to Nowlan Park? Would suit both parties
It’s my favourite venue for a hurling match. I’d vote for it to be honest.
Cody playing the mind games already
Our full back has a junior cert exam in the morning and Cody doesn’t want to heap too much pressure on him
Windgap versus Shanahoe.
Windgap have nothing coming through
Shanahoe by 4
Is it worth my time getting up at 2 am to watch this? Have a feeling KK will run out handy 6-7 point winners. It’s clear Locke, Mixer etc think so.
Kilkenny very quiet
They always think that. It could be the greatest ball of piss ever. Who knows.
Shanahoe Gaels, don’t omit Ballypickas please
