Apparently there has to be a certain amount of face to face ‘eyeballing’ to get your point across. If there’s a reasonable outcome in terms of commitment the private jet footprint may be worth it

Had an intranational meeting in our nation’s capital yesterday. I took the following modes of transport:
- Bus from Leafy T12 to Cork City centre
- Walked to Kent Station
- Train to Heuston Station
- 20-minute electric taxi to the destination
- 20-minute electric taxi back to Heuston
- Train back to Kent Station
- Walked to over to South Mall
- Bus back out to Leafy T12
I’m awful smug with myself, so I am.
Note that this meeting could not have been done over Teams/Zoom.

There’s times when You need to be able to see the whites of lads eyes , very hard get a read when he’s turned off the camera on Webex , you may as well be chatting to a lad in witness protection …
