I’m happy enough with my HTC Desire. The only issue is the battery power; it basically needs a charge at least once a day. I can see this posing issues in the coming weeks and months if I’m trying to line up a tap-in while out on the piss.
Yeah most of the new phones are like that Bandage. iPhone would want a charge every night too. Just have a USB charger at your desk so it’s always charging when you’re in work.
iPhone is worse. Any length on the net or apps wears the battery down in rapid time.

admittedly i’m not usually in a wifi area at work, and haven’t downloaded too many power hungry apps yet, but so far so good

Is it a new one? I’ve had mine around 18 months now and use it a good bit so the battery is probably a bit shagged at this stage.

i chose the iphone on the basis that the greatest number of apps and developers are working on it

I think they are launching or recently launched a range of smartphones with Windows OS on them, haven’t heard any reports though.
