I’ll pivot and become a LIDTF merchant, screaming at anyone and everyone that the vaccine is a COD and that this is exactly what the virus wants.
Level 5 is better craic than that
I’ll be going to more concerts than I can afford to. The Eagles in Cali being the first on my list.
I predict when this is all over and people start posting on social media about how great it is to be at matches/gigs etc again tfk style contrarians will say it wasn’t all that bad in the first place wasnt really a lockdown etc.
I was watching the Reeling In The Years knock-off on Virgin TV yesterday. Garth Brooks wanted 5 concerts at Croke Park. They only allowed him 3 so he cancelled all of them. The seethe was unbelievable. Mary Lou McDonald in the Dail saying “You cannot imagine the damage you have done to this city.” Oh to be angry about that again.
Was it a SF Lord Mayor who raised it with the Mexican Ambassador.
I’m going to the pub to watch a game of soccer. A mundane game too. Burnley will feature
Spend some quality time in social settings with people important to me.
Go to sporting events.
A night out in a bar with live music.
The people living around Croker must be delighted this year with all the peace and quiet.
They’re probably flat out having house parties and coughing away from their elbow to keep cases up
The only thing I really miss is live music, I’ll be going to a lot of gigs
I do really look forward to schools going back to normal, just watching the kids interacting with other kids not in their class.
I’d enjoy a few pints in a crowded pub alright, I’d love to do’s running race with a big field
Things I will do:
- Go home, visit my family, eat my mother’s home cooking, visit my aunt.
- get a night in a hotel with just the Mrs.
- pints
- gigs
- attend sports/ do a few races.
- maybe take a break from the INTERNET
I’ll get bananas at the Picnic in 2021
I miss the live music, going to matches, playing cards, eating out, going to the cinema and travel.
I will go to a rave and take lots of drugs and hit on a lot of women.
I will go for a pub crawl in Dublin and hit on a lot of women.
I will go for a few quiet pints in Monaghan and hit on a lot of women.
I will go to a gig, a play, a few sporting events and a recital in the National Concert Hall and hit on a lot of women.
I will go to a few restaurants. Actually, a lot of restaurants.
I will go to the cinema.
I will go on another foreign holiday.
I will drink cups of tea in cafes.
I will go to the gym.
Although I’m not finding this whole thing too hard, still working away just putting the head down etc when you look at a list like that you realise all the little luxuries in life are gone . I wonder will we minimise it when it’s over or look back on it as a tough time?
Be some craic if you met ‘the one’ on your first night out,
The dating/riding scene will be off the hook when this ends, you’ll be saying it was all worthwhile
