Anybody remember Pocari? One of the first isotonic drinks to launch in Ireland. I think it was mid to late 80s.
Japanese drink. Full name seems to have been pocari sweat but I think they dropped the sweat from the name here. Used to love it. Haven’t seen it in years.

Dont remember it.
Sunkist was nice. “Drink it in the suuuuun, sunkist is the one”
in my opinion, lucozade tastes better out of a can than a bottle and pepsi tastes better out of a bottle than a can. Now that is scientific fact - there’s no real evidence for it - but itis scientific fact

is Rock Shandy the ultimate roaster mineral (or is it a tin of club orange?)
Was in a pub in a real rural outpost not far from my home place last night. There were two taps - Guinness and Carling. One fella was on the rock shandy. I’ve seen the orange and lemon combo, and even the orange and red lemonade combo made up in pubs. However, your man behind the bar last night made it with orange and 7 up. Tins as well of course.
It’s a bollix when we go out and I have to drive. Ginger ale would be my soft drink of choice but they only sell the small bottles at nearly 3 notes a shout
Nah mate, it’s a completely different drink, I know that ginger beer is actually brewed, whatever that means, the ginger ale is just a fizzy drink.
I don’t know the ins and outs but they are definitely not the same
