Which Offaly Person Do You Hate The Most?

Now I know youā€™re pulling the piss

I think Eddie always dresses well. I was taking the piss with the Nordie weirdo alright.

Brendanā€™s poor taste in clothing is about the only consistent aspect of his punditry work.

No way should he be allowed to be a regular pundit while heā€™s Co Chairman. Current managers and coaches are normally only brought when their own county has been eliminated unless there a special one-off slot like the time they had Turlough Oā€™Brien on.

Itā€™s not as easy as saying he wonā€™t cover Offaly games and the cunt has a clear and obvious bias for Kilkenny and Galway as well. Imagine the shit storm he could cause in relation to competition structures and the like.

Heā€™d want to have serious sway over structures to move Offaly anywhere worthwhile

An opportunist cunt. Wait until they get to the very bottom of the rung and come in and take credit for the inevitable improvement in things.

If he was in anyway brave he would have made this move years ago.

Heā€™s probably the most improved pundit by a stretch this year. I thought he was as dull as dishwasher for years, but heā€™s come on leaps and bounds this year. He actually talks about hurling as opposed to getting a few mindless quips in.

Iā€™d agree with you with regards his taste in clobber though. Is Mr Mister a shop for the big (tall and/or fat) @carryharry? Their threads ainā€™t great.

Strange comments, heā€™s to be commended for putting himself forward if anything. Heā€™s much more to lose than gain.

Youā€™re being harsh there. Has worked wonders with in his adopted parish. Brought them to multiple minor and u20 successes in what had been a nothing club in the football half of the county.

Offaly are not competing in the All Ireland Hurling Championship in 2020. Theyā€™re in the Christy Ring Cup. Canā€™t see any conflict of interest in Chairman Duignan analysing matches in the Liam McCarthy Cup.

I recall him calling on the powers-that-be to implement retrospective censure on a player in a semi final a couple of years ago yet decided that a more serious incident involving a wing back in one of this years semis was not worthy of any investigation, never mind censure. To this untrained eye it seemed to be an incredibly inconsistent reading of the game. Such flip flopping is unbecoming of any self respecting pundit.

Thereā€™ll be debates on rules, Championship structures and a multitude of other things that heā€™ll have a vote on so participation in a competition by Offaly is irrelevant.

How will he have a vote on them?

Loves criticising others but throws the toys out of the pram if anyone has a go at him.

A couple of decent reporters will get right mileage off him if they throw a few missiles his direction.

Do you know how a Co Board and Convention works?

I imagine being a county chairman to be one of the most thankless jobs anyone could ever take on. Duignan is surely being anything but opportunistic here. Would be easy for him to sit in the soft seats and complain but instead heā€™s doing something about it. Very odd stance from @croppy_boy

I thought I did. And how does he have a vote on Championship structures and this multitude? Iā€™m genuinely curious.

What decent reporters are these?

Wouldnt be like him to be cantankerous and then dig in. This should be fascinating.

I always thought if I was a vet I would have that song as my telephone hold music.
