Iâm trying to work out whether thatâs a biscuit or a roll of masking tape or possibly dental floss.
Iâm a complete Philippine when it comes to such matters, but Travolta in âget shortyâ is the greatest thing since a relatively fresh faced @glenshane swapped boots for tights in trinneres dâsocs hamletâŚ
Itâs all coming out now.
Shur that was already outâŚsomeone posted the black and white photo (might have been me)
Next youâll be telling us that youâre the spit of Kenneth Branagh.
Would the Fair City actors be happy with their lot? A tough gig for 90% of actors Iâd imagine. I would guess most actors are jobbing actors unless you are one of the lucky few to get a big pay out from a Hollywood film? Other than that I would imagine itâs Netflix series, stage, ads, nothing, Amazon series, stage, an ad, nothing etc.
Shefali Shah is my favourite actor.
Soap actors/actresses are contracted and as far as I know canât do anything else.
I suppose it depends on the contract as I saw yer man Pete from Fair City in something else recently. So Iâll shut up nowâŚ
No is the answer. The originals were on a good gig but are pretty much all gone. Rte has stripped nearly all benefits now out of it and seeks to lock actors into zero hours style contracts, with access but no guarantee of work. They continually offer less and less to actors for the same works, with worse conditions. They do this because they can, because the majority of actors are working poor and will jump at the chance for work.
Christopher Walken is unrale , so unique .
In terms of Irish actors, Lalor Roddy is superb.
He has a great âlived inâ face
Thatâs a lovely little speech from Harrison
If you get a chance the In Memoriam from last nights Actors Awards is worth a watch also, some giants gone
