So you’re saying, in hindsight, Ms Moran giving your mate a kick up the arse was exactly what he needed?
Where would you stand on this?
Should the house be demolished?
‘How can they justify spending taxpayers’ money demolishing our home?’ - family fight to save Meath mini-mansion built without permission
No…kick them out and split it into apartments. Fuck them.
Agreed. Fine looking house. Turf them out of it
Apartments???
Its in the middle of nowhere. Its on about 16 acres. Thats an old photo or else a drone was used cos you cant see the house from the road.
Anyway Im saying nothing else about Mr Murray…
Well that’s the crux of the issue.
If they are kicking them out because the house couldn’t/shouldn’t have been built in that area, then how do you legally let other people live in it?
Could fine them a million and leave em at it
That’s what I’d be thinking. Extremely heavy financial penalty. X times the house value.
Or take the land around the house off them and use it for landfill
Evict the Meath baaaastard
Fine them the independent value of the house.
Fcuk it, I’d just make them demolish it at their own expense, and restore the land. Throw them in jail until they comply. It’s one of the very few things better about the mainland is that they’d have had this knocked years ago at the owners expense.
Kick them out.
Grant retention subject to them never returning.
They would be stage 9 rattled.
Maybe a spell in jail too. Sure you can’t be doing things like that just because you feel aggrieved.
Your inconsistent enough what you throw people in jail for contempt for
So rich folk can build where they want?
Ya there’s that angle too. I wouldn’t be adverse to it being knocked.
Damn Cairn Homes, trying to build too many homes. Lucky we have ABP to keep them in check.
5-7 floors? Is this Carrickhatten?
Not every house built needs to be owner occupied, the rental market is also just as fucked. Both owner occupied and rental accommodation needs to be built but NIMBYism is fucking up the system, hard to blame the gubbermint for NIMBYism imho
The rental market is the one that is fucked and has been for the last few years.
There is the generation who were fucked by the GFC crisis and we see the remnants of that with home ownership rates but it is the rental market that always needed to be focused on. The homeless rate is also a fairly pointless KPI at this stage.
