I don’t think it was a weak strike. I’d have expected the keeper to get over to it if his footwork was better just because of the pace on it.
what was that shite the ref was squirting on the gnd? if robbier fowler did that there would be uproar
I don’t think the keeper could have got it.
It wasn’t the hardest shot but it was sufficiently hard.
The pin point accuracy in off the post was the best part.
 Yip, badly missing a lad that won one cap 4 years ago

I thought he was slow to move his feet and he should have been able to cover that angle. Was obviously very well placed though.
id agree with that
The Croats will get going now with the racism and are really getting stuck into these windy cunts.
Modric is smashing player
ITV have Fabio Cannavaro and Patrick Vieira on their analysis team.
They also have Lee Dixon.
Was Neymar booked for that?
I wonder does kev have contacts within each of the countries in the world cup?
Can we get a “took the bait” emoticon/character please mods
The elbow? Yep. That’s why the referee waved that yellow card at him.
Scolari’s conservatism may well cost Brazil. Paulinho and Luis Gustavo are too similar and passive on the ball in midfield. Surely they would be better served with Ramires energy or Hernanes looking to move the ball around and give them a bit more tempo. They have looked good when they have move the ball early and wide
Not sure Kovacic has done enough in midfield for Croatia. They don’t have anyone with much steel in that midfield. The other two (Rakitic/Modric) have been vulnerable defensively but creative on the ball. Kovacic hasn’t really been involved in either facet much.
Kovacic is playing the advanced role so he isn’t in the heart of the midfield as such.
The Croatioan technque is wonderdul, all Balkan teams have that, look how comfortable Rakitic is on the ball, the movement , touch, balance is perfect, never rushed, always making space , body position is perfect… WOOF to all the that
Yeah - it’s just that the other two aren’t particularly strong so they could do with him dropping in to help. They’ve done it a few times now in possession where he’s helped out and they’ve had good possession from it.
Scolari’s nephew died in a car crash during the week yet Ray feels the need to criticise him for waving an imaginary yellow card.
Jelavic rightly seething… he can mug off that dope Luiz if he gets good ball
Olic and Jelavic have been very bitchy with one another throughout.
Brazil look fucked lads, totally devoid of ideas
