Ye Olde FA Cup Thread

Sbozoli the fucking gimp thinks he’s Ronaldinho…

Christ above… just saw it there.

Sub him off at half time. No ifs, no buts. That type of arrogance is despicable. I’d fine the cunt a weeks wages too.

Thank god United weren’t successful in destroying the FA Cup

Barnsley have been rode red raw by the referee here.

That was never a penalty.

Liverpool need to kill this off before FOTF Didsy enters the fray.

Liverpool are shite.

Maybe harsh but Barnsley have given them loads of it tonight.

So poor by Wirtz!!!

Yeah it was an enjoyable cup tie. Barnsley had a right go. Unlucky with the early header off the post that would’ve thrown the cat amongst the pigeons. It’s Liverpool’s most unconvincing 11 game unbeaten run since that run under Brendan Rodgers between December 2014-March 2015 that ended in defeat against LVG’s Man Utd.

Cleary on the left has been very good for Barnsley.

Can you imagine what they’d be like without Szoboszlai ….

Only caught the beginning and end of this, but at 21, Cleary looks like he could play at a higher level. Took on Sboz down the outside and wasn’t completely bullied. Crosses well off both feet. I wonder which big team’s academy he is from?

Celtic should take a look at him

I was looking him up earlier. He came through at WBA but didn’t make the grade.

Looked well schooled there anyway. Only Sboz could tell you on those last few balls how hard he was trying. The last cross for McGoldrick off his bad side was class. Arrowed it in.

I’d class Viera and Keane as before

But all of

Xavi, Pirlo, Seedorf, Scholes, Alonso, Busquetes, Yaya Toure, Iniesta, David Silva, KDB, Alonso, Modric, Kroos, Gerard, Bernardo Silva, Fabregas and there’s more probably.

The depth was crazy.

  • Liverpool v Brighton
  • Stoke City v Fulham
  • Oxford United v Sunderland
  • Southampton v Leicester City
  • Wrexham v Ipswich Town
  • Arsenal v Wigan
  • Hull City v Chelsea
  • Burton Albion v West Ham
  • Burnley v Mansfield Town
  • Norwich City v West Brom
  • Port Vale v Bristol City
  • Grimsby Town v Wolves
  • Aston Villa v Newcastle
  • Manchester City v Salford/Swindon
  • Macclesfield v Brentford
  • Birmingham City v Leeds

City waxed again with that draw. Name on the cup!

Brighton’s year

Leeds will give them pucks of it…

Brighton provide a far tougher test than the Seagulls’ vanquished Third Round opponents would have done.

With these two teams in the draw you can see why Manchester United didn’t fancy progressing.
