Its perfectly reasonable. Daddy has lost the run of himself.
Where’s the harm in leaving her in the whatsapp group?
Timing is odd given it happened a few weeks back. Dublin retained a different player who was at the other end of her ACL recovery journey when the panel was cut to 30. That player came on yesterday in the 2nd half of Dublin’s semi-final win over Meath in the Leinser SC.
Probably coincidental. Spidey’s neck of the woods I think.
In anyways the Co Board saw fit to issue a statement on the matter.
Probably none. But the disproportionate response from daddy wasn’t balanced or accurate.
What is an FLO in the team management context?
Sport is brutal, ruthless really. As soon as you are no longer of any use to the manager you get chucked. That’s the long and the short of it. If you don’t get that you’ve no business participating.
I love that clip of Neil warnock talking about how much he hates injured players
Female Liaison Officer
My mum used be one when my sister played minor for Kilkenny.
Basically, to have a woman in the dressing room to make sure they have all the bits and pieces they need and that they’re ready for the team management to come in, especially when management team is all male.
Female Liason officer. If you’ve men involved in a team, there has to be one there. The Tom Humphrey’s clause
Tis sport. Lads don’t see it until they’re outside the bubble. As soon as you’re done, you’re out and the next man is up. It can fuck a few lads up.
Gerry McQuaid and Paul Kelly.
Gerry is nice man. That parent would be better to stop whinging on Twitter.
So they told the co board they were withdrawing from the panel and the co board then withdrew the team from the championship. Seems that their bluff was called out.
The gaa absolutely LOVES to use the “disrespectful” card in general.
The future of intermediate camogie in Kildare is at stake

Not sure its in the interest of the county board to be calling that bluff but it was a ballsy play Cotton.
I’d love to know the full story though. But this thing of walking off a panel to try force a co board into action and the board just withdraws the team amuses me. If they have legitimate claims or issues, it should be handled properly.
“we’re leaving the panel and not playing anymore”
“ok, we’ve not entered the team in championship so”
Sounds like a classic Ladies GAA Solution to a Ladies GAA problem.
I look forward to the social media comments blaming the mens county board and accusing them of sexism etc.
Didn’t it mention a number of breaches of the players charter that had been agreed with the board/management?
