Unreal. Two down and outs finding momentary solace in each otherā¦ but it was never gonna be enough for Eddie ā¦ In the end he traded in that happiness to scratch his itch. She had to die so Eddie could live.

Salvador is an over looked gem.
Highly recommend watching it if you havenāt seen it. He made and released Platoon the same year so Salvador gets over looked but itās a cracking movie. The interactions between Woods and Belushi are superb
ā¦but eddie knows hes made of the same stuff and beating fats is the only way to beat eddie, or at least cling on for a while longer. Eddie sees himself in fats. Thats another tragedy in a string of them. Defeat is devastating. Victory is the death of the soul.
Its quite something when you think about it.
