A few of the Tipp team, whilst warming up at the Davin end at the start of the semi, went out of their way to make sure a few balls went over or under the nets, and were given to the kids by the stewards.
It showed a nice touch, and was really classy behaviour,but I can’t help but think that the stepford wives would be too scared of the crank, or too rabid for victory at all costs, to indulge in such pleasantries before a big knockout game.
I hope Tipp win. I am sure they are talented and fit enough. Can they match that kk ferocity for the entire 70 plus?

Top three wins in the Cody era - only counting AI wins

2006 v Cork. Brilliant win, the long grass, breaking Cork hearts, stopping the all conquering running game. Buried them that day. Mad to think Cork haven’t won an AI in over 10 years

2008 v Waterford. Complete hurling that day. If we were up against the best of the rest with a seasons training on them they still wouldn’t have beaten KK on the day

2011 v Tipp. After 2010 and been written off, Lar and his hat trick and his fuckin “I’m de hurler of de year” and Kelly tipping his fuckin cuntin helmet and the King breaking down, that was one sweet win. Bate them and bate them well that year
