speaking of defined muscle…the great merlene ottey…i’d say you’d need to bring your A game if you were going to her bed and a wheelbarrow full of gooch’s isotonic drink for the last 15 minutes…she would break you up …

Ah I loved Merlene Ottey back in the day. What time is the men’s 200m final tonight. I’m gonna say that I don’t think Bolt will break the WR.

No Kev no. In that case I would never be with a bird. I have inverse arms, they get thinner the further you go up. I’m happy enough ticking along at an average of one more muscular womn than me every 6 months or so.

Are you a Lesbian?
 this is true Kev, very true
Its from the neck up that they look good usually- those sprinters are usually animally fit. Mid to distance runners very skinny but better than the muscly ones and anything in a throwing event should be avoided
Was the atmosphere good there? Seemed like stadium was half empty most days
I went twice, the morning atmosphere was what you’d expect, slow burning. The Sunday evening was electric, there was real tension in the air. The last time i felt that was at half time in the 1991 Munster hurling final. Unreal.

How much was a ticket for that kev, presume you would buy day/weekend passes or something of the sort?

Sunday night… so you saw the Bolt in action
Seemed excellent on youtube

Ya i did, thats what made the holiday even better than it was. I didn’t realise till about a month ago that the athletics were on. I went on line and bought a ticket for when the 100m final was on, it cost me 70 yo yo’s. My female companion at that stage wasn’t coming, so i only got one. We then got her one for 12 yo yo’s on sunday morning at the stadium. It was just below full, but neither of us sat anywhere near where we were supposed to.

The other morning we went, tuesday, was 15 in. They brought down the prices across the board after the weekend.

Just watched Bolts 200m run from last night. Wow.

Hope he runs well
A NR/PB could see him in the medals

Geitz ist geil
The Germans wouldn’t be overly fond of spending their money
You’re a lucky man to see that saw that in the flesh
Last night seemed like a great atmosphere, 200m record, high jump right til the end with a German involved
I’ve made a deal with the missus that we’ll head to London for some of the Olympics-
Might catch the Europeans next year as well

Ah the prices were outrageous for the lesser sports/quite days. They copped it fairly quick anyway and the crowds have gone up.
Berlinians though are well able to spend their money, they love going out, and are almost un-German like in their attitude to life. The most multi-cultural city i’ve ever been to. The modern parts would make you think you were in the states, and so would the women.

I was more than lucky really.

Imagine if the FAI were like that…

Well i have noticed in many other countries, especially in mainland Europe, the organisations and governments listen to public opinion. If only we had people in charge who genuinely had the good of the people in their hearts.

They gave out like shit about it for the week coming up to the championships, then they didn’t go, and then the prices came down. The GAA for instance keep prices up knowing that some people are just so bloody loyal they’ll go anyway, and they say to fuck with the floating people who “might” go if it was reasonable.

Gillick running now in a few minutes.

Ah he got that all wrong.

He was flat out at the start. No kick left at all for the last 200

he was bolloxed by the last turn…all the others seemed to go up a gear…

still 6th in the world is a fair achievement…
