Last year I made a very tidy profit after Powers but a market for how much injury time would be played.
I can’t remember the exact odds but it was something like 4/6 over 1 minute. An absolute gift.
They haven’t got that particular market up this year (yet anyways) so on the scout for something else.
So far I’ve picked out:
Tipp over 20.5 pts @ 5/6 (but I’ll wait until closer to the day to see if it’s going to be wet of not)
Landed a great bet last year on betfair, first score to be a kilkenny point from a free, think I got something like 7/2…
Will definately have a huge cut off Clare minors +9 and will also be on them at 13/2…They are way overpriced, especially given that it is minor and is all on the day, teams played twice in April and Kilkenny won both times by a point and three points…
Will have a small bet on Tipp at 5/2…Anyone know what odds I could get kilkenny -10 out of interest
I don’t like those type of bets. They are just pot luck.

you seem to be forgetting that Kilkenny have never beaten Clare in the minor or under 21 championship…This Clare team is fullof moxey and in their last four games they have had to battle hard and have reacted very well any time they have conceeded a goal, we mightn’t win it but we won’t be blown away out of it
Puke that statistical sample means nothing it’s too small. You are drawing a conclusion from 2 or 3 matches Good luck to Clare and if they win it fair play to them
However the hard facts are that Clare made heavy weather of beating a Waterford team that was out on it’s feet having played Cork in a replay 4 days befoe the Munster final. They then made heavy weather of beating a Dublin team that Kilkenny had beaten by 16 points in the Leinster final. Kilkenny on the other hand wiped out Galway who had in turn beaten Waterford by 4 points. All of this would suggest that unless kk get a head stagger the likely margin of victory is 12-15 points

They didn’t exactly make heavy weather of Waterford, took over the game at the start of the second half and saw it out comfortably, this 4 day turn around is a bit of bull considering that the Clare minors had to play three games in the space of 7 days in the minor championship earlier in the year…Kilkenny certainly look impressive against Galway but I would ask you too look back at the match, Galway were in with a shout til they gifted Kilkenny soft goals, 4 of the 5 goals kilkenny got were extremely soft and I can guarentee you the Clare backs won’t be lacking in commitment in the tackle that way the Galway backs were…The win against Dublin was the best thing for them, they were probaly 7 or 8 points the better team but a bit of nerves and a few missed goal chances kept Dublin in the game, kilkenny will be fine and confident and the way fella’s are talking they only have to show up, never a good thing for a minor team to be hearing…
Puke a couple of points. The three games Clare played in seven days, one was against a fresh Waterford team where Clare were beaten home, one was against Kerry and the last was against a Tipp team coming off an extra time defeat against Cork. Even the Kerry teM that Clare played had only 4 days to prepare. The only team that Clare beat that had had a break before a game was a one point win over a Dublin team that was coming off a 16 point hiding from Kilkenny
the other thing is that historically kilkenny handle the favourites tag quite well and often when people say they only have to show up to take the cup, well that’s what they do.
No problem with you backing your native county, that’s largely how bookies make their money on the GAA but I see no logical rationale for it
KK by 5-8 points - 11/4
Eddie Brennan (if he starts) to outscore Lar Corbett - 5/4
Brendan Maher to outscore Cha - 6/5
Shane McGrath to outscore Michael Rice - 5/4
kilkenny by 16 points or more at 18/1 is free money
i have a sensational value dublin club stick hurling bet that ill give out once DB gives me the nod that i can pass it on- if he doesnt only the clique will gt it
