Depends is he pissed on the floor and is he getting hit by professional athletes while on it? Few runs around the floor, maybe a glass of wine to help the dinner but bed early. Twas a Leinster Championship match, you prepare accordingly, and this was not proper preparation. He’s got his Irish caps already if thats what it was about. Club first for me anyway. My minds not for changing.

He played for his clubs though…he had no control over the fixtures…if he two club games were on saturday and sunday and the international rules were on the monday you would have no complaint, don’t think he can be blamed for the way they fell, he manned up and got on with it…This isn’t like Brian Barry choosing UCD over Dickboro a few years ago…Glynn has let nobody down and is a credit to his club and the association…

According to Newstalk last night his club were honored by the fact that one of their members was representing Ireland again. He had asked the club should he play for Ireland and the answer from the manager was an emphatic yes.

He played a makey up game to the detriment of his ability to play his club games. Tis fine Puke, you don’t agree, thats your right, but I see his carry on as cuntish. Like I said, even a bollox like Shields stood aside and concentrated on his Club, thats what I would have done (esp if I’d already gotten the honour of playing for my country in a makey up game I’d craved).

not sure what the county final tallys have to do with anything? He had leinster club games last weekend and went off to play a made up sport before them. Say what you like about other sports as pukey has but at least they’re bonafida sports, not like the shit he went off to play in. No poster can honestly believe playing it had no effect on him. I know if I was a team mate I would have been disgusted.

I didn’t need to do anything here, but you are missing the point, Glynn got the full backing of both sets of team mates, i say fair play to Tohill for sparing him a bit as well saturday night. He only played about 14 minutes, sure you’d do that on a captains run the night before a big game. :lol:

He’s a highly tuned athlete, and a very dedicated one, and the fact that his best game was the last one shows it all really.

I’m nominating mbb for cunt of the year right here. Although the pasting he got has me kinda feeling sorry for him.

LG is arguably wicklows best footballer, wicklow are shit though and theres no thanks and no glory days for it but plenty of kicks in the hole no doubt.
His club are at this moment top dogs in the county, his influence on the team is arguably the main reason for this.
His club dont hurl so he hurls with a nearby hurling club, they are also top dogs in the county and he is also one of their top players.

He played 3 amateur games in 3 days at the weekend, including what was possibly a career highlight of representing his country. The code matters not a fuck. unlike Shields this man has no AI medals nor will he ever have, he is what epitomises the gaa for me.

these are amateur sportsmen MBB, u should know better.
I set up a perfectly reasonable thread for this type of thing last year where i asked for forum members to actively participate in identifying ( with a very good response i may add) such individuals based on nothing but rumour and i remember MBB getting up on his ivory internet tower and launching a series of threats against me and my good character.

Mikee took off on quite a tangent here. Hard to know if he was trying to be funny, unfortunately I actually think he was.

Not to stir the keg a bit more but interesting to read how Glynn had nothing left in the tank when Rathnew went to him in the latter stages against Skryne. Some might believe this to be the LC’s fault and they’re entitled to that opinion, but I firmly believe that when the situation was what it was he should have done the decent thing and prioritised his Club. Whats done is done now.
