You’d imagine London should oblige but you might get a better price on betfair closer to throw in.
KIB Man - after the Dublin game, I’ve decided that I’ll never be backing galway in any game again for the rest of this year. Both teams far too windy and unpredictable. I’ll probably keep on the Joe canning anytime goal though.
Ah yeah but I think that is one poor Cork team. Bringing back Jerry O’Connor into midfield smacks of desperation.
yeah I’ll be going with the Canning goal one too.
Dont like backing Galway either but I’ll be backing both their teams this weekend as I think they are value at the prices. Think 5/2 for any reasonable team to beat Meath is value.
Are Laois any use this year in football? Kildare are vulnerable this weekend in Portlaoise I reckon. Ditto Tyrone in Longford.
KIB why are you betting on a team you don’t think will win? Galway football is in shit for a while, and Meath will beat them. If it was 10/1 i wouldn’t put down.
I’m staying away from most bets this weekend, being away is clouding my judgement on some teams and i’m not getting enough info/news/talk on them or from them.
The Reds are the only team i’ll bet on this weekend, they are +4 against the Crusaders, playing at home and in fine form.
id rank galway probably a 7/4 shot max to beat meath. since they are at 5/2 or 9/4 therefore I think they are value. For me it doesnt really come down to if I think they will win or not as unless there are laois hurlers involved sure things dont happen. I try to stay neutral and bet on what I think is value. Meath have their former keeper playing in the forwards and graham geraghty was brought back, ergo despite hammering a shit louth team I dont think they are up to much. Carlow beat Louth too so that form line is non existent imo. what price were galway last year to beat Wexford in the qualifiers? Id rank Wexford a good bit ahead of Meath.
Galway just won the u21 all ireland and won a minor all ireland a couple of years ago. There must be a load of other teams in the shit for a while if galway are. Think playing away will suit galway more than a home game, im happy for them to take my money at that price. They do have good players, Bradshaw wont be in the forwards this week for a start and if they are going well their young players are undoubtedly more talented that Meath’s. Could be worth looking at goals too as both full forward lines look too strong for their respective defences.
There was a former poster on TFK who really struggled with surnames and their use of ‘e’, ‘i’ and ‘o’.
You’d get Galvan instead of the correct Galvin, O’Conner rather than O’Connor and O’Halloren instead of O’Halloran.
A real thick cunt from the mountain in Clare. I think Offaly will win too though. Do you think your minors will win the All Ireland football after last weekend’s success?
I think there’s value in the handicap but its hard not to be biased. I have them at 12s and 16s for leinster outright and can’t bring myself to lay it off as our price is so bad.
Your thinking on Galway is way off. The star U-21 players are very very young, 18 and 19 for 2 of them and neither are playing. Betting on price and not the game is quite honestly the stupidest thing i have ever heard.
Yup, nice odds. I’d say the Dubs (fans) back themselves an awful lot, kinda like the English soccer fans driving in the odds on England. Have seen fuck all of Wexford really at Senior so i’ll probably stay away, although the +5 @ 2.1 seems very tempting.
Total points in the Tipp/W’ford game is 47.5 5/6 with PP. Given Tipps ability to get goals I’d say thats very attractive. Over 3.5 goals is 8/11 which looks ok too. Nice double?
