MBB has often stated he doesn’t understand betting, yet feels he knows enough about it now to run down an incredible tipping performance.
I was saying it to my brother and he reckons PP aren’t happy. He’d know a lad working there pretty well.
They think that players may have been involved and it’s seen as irregular betting patterns.

You’re right Runt, I’m not into the betting, hence my surprise that this lad is being praised so highly thats all. Just saw this lad lauded in other places, when anyone from Laois was saying the same thing. There’s a thread on laoistalk saying as much even. I guess not many of you would have known the stories about the Waterford thing, but this was expected in Laois, just not 10 goals full mind you, but we figured it would be done in points.
yes that’s all grand with throw away comments, like laois will get hammered etc (sort of like a KIB style “tip”) but for somebody to actually put down a staking plan that nets nearly 100pts is very impressive indeed.

The +100 points isn’t based on the outlay of 30 points. It’s far higher than that. The +100 is the margin against one point by Runt’s calculations I imagine.
So the return is 3000 points?
I made it out to be 92ish + the 30 back = 122 i.e. 100+

It’s used by tipsters etc so everyone can tailor their bet to suit themselves.
to one punter 1pt might = €10 but to another 1pt might = €100, so by using points a tipster doesn’t need to assign an actual value to the bet, just a level of recommendation (e.g. a 5pt bet is more recommended than a 1pt bet).
