BISHOPSTOWN 22/1, lol. I wouldn’t back them at 200/1

Do Cork posters give Bishopstown any chance this weekend? They must be decent getting this far, at 10/3 are they worth a flutter seriously?

How does this sound?

Kilmallock 2/7 to beat Adare
Drom & Inch 8/13 to beat Loughmore Castleiney
Celbridge 8/11 to beat Confey
St Rynaghs 10/11 to beat Kilcormac/K
Cork Ladies -7 10/11 to beat Kerry

Works out at 13/1

Fancy Drom & the Cork ladies strongly, but my knowledge of the rest is patchy to be honest.

Opinions?

the KK posters may be able to answer this but is it true ( as was reported in the media this week) that Henry Shefflin and Walter Walsh have very, very low IQs?

I’d give them a 5% chance.

I see Powers have betting up for the All-Stars. It’s hard enough to have a bet at the prices i think. A few thoughts:

  • I would back David Clarke for goalkeeper if he was around 2/1 or better but he is not worth punting IMO at 13/8. I think both himself and Durcan had super years, you couldn’t find fault with Durcan getting it and he is more likely to do so.
  • In the full back line i am surprised at Ross O’Carroll’s price of 16/1, that would indicate he has no chance at all as they don’t get these awards odds wrong too often.
  • Aidan O’Shea interests me at 5/2 for a midfield spot. He had a great year and i thought he was a colossus against the Dubs in particular. That alone could get him in there. Would welcome thoughts on this.
  • In the half forward line i think Alan Dillon is surely nailed on and is very generous at 2/7. He should be way, way shorter IMO but good luck getting much on that.
  • Anthony Nash is 4/6 in the hurling, very short. I know Skehill probably hadn’t a great final and that will likely mean he won’t get it but he was good all year in a year when goalkeepers didn’t really excel. That save in the semi-final was spectacular. He is 6/5 but not worth backing at that IMO.
  • For the full back line two spots look certain with the last one between JJ and Fergal Moore. The latter is 11/8 if you fancy him but again you want probably want a bit more.
  • Could Pa Bourke get a spot in the half forward line? Looks reasonably priced at 5/2.

Opinions welcome. So to summarise there are three bets worth considering IMO - O’Shea at 5/2, Dillon at 2/7 and maybe Bourke at 5/2

What a load of “I think” cock…FFS you’re an embarrasment to yourself and your so-called buddies with this load of shit…

Aidan O’Shea interests me…

“Le Spanner”…

Go away you bucktoothed simpleton.

PMs Dunph.

I think O’Shea is worth a serious wager at 5/2 Dunph.

Pa Bourke is too skinny at 5/2 imo, basically an All Star for taking frees & being subbed early in the Munster Final.

I’d lump on Dillion & O’Shea first tbh.

Alan Dillon at 2/7 is free money.Keith higgins is great value for corner back slot as well.

True.

Well done lad

+1, great spot CLD.

Well done lad[/quote]

One of the best bits of betting advice I’ve seen on this board. Unlike things like races or matches which have the chance of going totally the other way no matter how good your logic, this was one where the bookies actually made a mistake. There was no way joe canning should have been short priced favourite when kk were such favourites to win. Clap clap

Super stuff CLD, well done

It is only right that I should doff my cap also.

Wedding in Langtons. Quite fitting really.

:pint:

great call in fairness…well done…
still think brian hogan had a better year than the king but sure forwards always get the plaudits i guess…

Jesus close to pissing myself reading that series of posts. @Bandage one is an all time classic
