I don’t care very much for your tone, the Dunph. I don’t like the peremptory manner in which you address me and I take exception to the way you always refer to me by my surname. You come across like a bullying non-commissioned officer in the style of a Windsor Davies or worse a hectoring middle aged Christian Brother. I refuse to be spoken to like that. Frankly it is only a small step away from bullying and until you change your tone you needn’t expect a response from me.

Not sure if you are taking the piss, but anyway. I’m sure there are people who don’t get this.
Here is how to turn an odd into a fraction.

1. Add the numbers together. This is your denominator. [Bottom number]
2. The second number of the odd is the numerator. [Top number]

So if it was 7/1:
7/1 = 1 divided by 7 + 1 = 1/8 = 12.5%

So…
15/8 = 8 divided by 15 + 8 = 8/23 = 34.7%

I know, but I have not seen ye blowing on about it really. I said last year they’d be very close to winning it within 2 years when everyone was ridiculing their defensive methods and conditioning program. I remember saying it would take 2-3 years to get to their best. Obviously I picked Cork in the semi final based on their form and experience. Fair play to Donegal, it’s one of the most impressive All Ireland runs in history, they beat some serious opposition. I was also ridiculed by Somehorse amongst others who kept questioning my value in Mayo and my prediction of them being front runners, which they clearly are. People forget how consistent Mayo are.

If I was still a betting man I’d read Dara O Cinneade before any bet. His analysis is superb and it was uncanny how he nailed the Final. I don’t always agree with him completely and he can be slightly, understandably, Kerrycentric but invariably he is spot on. It’s a pity he is not involved in an English speaking sports program, everyone would then appreciate how good he is.

This cluanduic character strikes me as very much a Rain Man type character. Very comfortable calculating probabilities and so on but finds linguistics difficult and his trousers are probably an inch or two too short.
