He was badly out of position for 2nd one. Was 100% committed to the attack with the winger right pushed up also, sloppy at best, and slow to recover on top of it

But as you said, Ireland were attacking, it was a scramble defence. Think you’re both being a bit hard on him, thought he was doing ok over all.

He’s taken the ball into contact a few times when there was opportunity to pass it wide to release the likes of Kearney or Zebo. He’s always solid if unspectacular but never looks to get past a man. Always goes into contact with it.

Nice bit of pressure there. Good work from Henry in the build up and a typical TOL finish. There’s holes in that English midfield if we could launch a few runners at them.
