2013/2014 Scottish Premiership Season

Absolutely frantic start to the Edinburgh derby. Hibs look a team transformed in recent weeks under Terry Butcher after an initial bedding in period where results and performances weren’t all that better than when Pat Fenlon was in charge.

Hibs 1 up

Former Ireland Under 21 striker James Collins, who’s otherwise been absolutely dire, has Hibs in front with a very good finish on the turn after a corner was kept alive in the box.

Hearts are level. A run and shot by David Smith was fumbled by the keeper (should have held it) and Smith’s follow up poke was diverted in by Ryan McGivern. Coincidentally, McGivern delivered the worst individual professional football display I’ve ever seen in the flesh for the Occupied Six against us in the Carling Nations Cup in 2011. The away has gone mental. Cunts being arrested for coming onto the pitch and so on.

Average dive there by Walker.

Hibs kinda hanging on now, 5 mins added time.

Ah yes, he was comically bad that day. Pressure of the occasion got to him I’d say.

Hibs are a horrid hunnish club, they had that prick Ivan Sproule playing for them once

First irish team to play in the european cup pal. Bet you didn’t know that

cork hibs?

The young lad’s challenge to concede the penalty was fucking hilarious. Good victory for Hibs in the end in what was a cracking game of football.

@mickee321, you must be enjoying the Premiership this season? When do you think Hearts will get to a positive points tally?

Cat got your tongue, @mickee321? Hibs’ largest home attendance in 20 years and a belting game played in a cracking atmosphere. Our league is bloody thriving, mate. Just need to get that co-efficient climbing now.

we (Airdrieonians) will hopefully be competing at that level once we get ourselves sorted out pal.
In the meantime im supporting the real Irish club , that is of course Ritchie Foran’s Inverness Caledonian Thistle

Looking increasingly likely that the Edinburgh derby may not be lost next season after all…

And the Glasgow derby will be preserved. Perfect outcome for Scottish and Irish football.

So it’s QOS/Falkirk/Hamilton vs Hibs/Kilmarnock for the final coveted spot in the Scottish Premiership next season.

I love a good play off

Hibs going down :D:D:D:pint::pint::pint:

Will King, Billy be a transfer target for Celtic this Summer @Bandage ?

oh dear…

In spite of your constant protestations otherwise Celtic need Rangers. Without that fixture no one gives a fuck about the Scottish premier league.

Celtic can now go into next year with the board under even less pressure to spend.

That shows the strength in depth in Scotland, pal. We could have Hibs joining Hearts in the second tier next season along with other recent SPFL competitors like Hamilton Accies.
