I know, a serious score to rack up. In fairness it was only in the last 15 mins they pulled away
Huge win for Kinvara vs Sarsfield. Draw for next round on Tuesday night.
Ben and Gerry O’Connor made their debut for Newtown in the North Cork Junior championship yesterday in a comfortable 5 point win over Kilworth. A dispute which should have been sorted months ago is tearing the Newtown club apart with certain club member’s more interested in their own ego’s rather than the greater good of the club. Sad carry on with Newtown throwing away what would be a great chance of winning the Senior County this year.
Tease that out a bit there mate.
Controversy in Monaghan yesterday with Ballybay walking off the pitch after one of their players, a Protestant, was allegedly the victim of sectarian abuse. There’s conflicting reports on it, however. Some say the player, county panelist Drew Wylie, got sent off for punching the abuser and his manager took the rest of the team off when he was told what happened. Other reports say the abuse wasn’t sectarian but enough to prompt the walk-off after the sending off.
How does it need to be teased out? The TFK team were on this story months ago.
Not like you not to have your ear to the ground on such a matter. Looks like you need better sources.

Tease that out a bit better there.
the only way they were playing junior was that they were regraded and come senior championship they will be back playing senior, unless the senior team is strong and they might not make the first 15
Btw, ‘Gerry’
Stop trying to pick holes, just because you are out of the loop on one of the biggest stories in club gaa.
I know stuff I do.
So there.
ballyboden crushed once kingpins St. Vincents 4-19 to 0-08 in the second round of group mathes in Dublin SHC this evening in parnell… Vinnies could be getting relegated after this their second defeat…think crokes are only team who might stop boden regaining the cup this year…in other matches cuala and o tooles drew as did lucan and croabh…
I’ve heard that O’Tooles only managed that draw thanks to the ref…
one way or another the ref will always be a factor when o tooles play…
Same lad did the final last year and the Cuala manager had a go at him afterwards. He got his revenge tonight. My contact is absolutely seething.
it happens…by and large the same refs are about for years so you cross any of them they´ll get you back if they are spiteful…
Lar Corbett has been sent off in the opening minutes in Thurles Sars “do or die” 1st Round County Championship match with Nenagh Eire Og. Both sides down to 14 men. Score at half time is 0-06 each. Would be some shock if Sars go out. Nenagh have missed 3 goal chances already.
Nenagh 0-10
Sars 0-07
Not like Lar to court controversy or drama…
