Whats the deal with no back door this year?
Its ridiculous that a team can be out of the championship in early May
Great preview of the limerick club championship in the leader today. Looks likely to be between kilmallock and Na P again. I’m backing the sky blues to regain the title this year.

Plunketts will not be allowed crawl under a rock for rest of season…they have to go into the ´B´ championship !!..harsh
Are there any Brennan’s still involved with Ballinteer?
OPER will be back at Ciaran Kilkennys door again soon.

as in the old manager from Laois?..think he 's gone years…was with Josephs in laois for a bit…the other Brennan managed Marys in Sagart and his son played with Marys and Laois… the oul lad then went to manage Moorefield and the son went playing with Josephs last I heard…
Dublin have gone straight knock out? I’m in favor of that myself, but only starting in August. That’s pretty stupid to be going back to clubs being out in May. Counter productive in the extreme.
Well Plunketts would have something to train for till August and there would be league games. It’s not really about the people who go watch the games, it’s about the players.
I think a few norther counties have leagues running till July and have finals played and all and Champo starts in August. It would be hard in dual counties, but in my opinion that’s just tough shit.

Laois have been doing this for past 6 years or more. As you say tough on ways, but far better imo.

unortunately , for whatever reason, a lot of teams in Dublin don´t take league seriously…maybe its because inter county players don´t play in it…other counties like Mayo, Tyrone its very competitive…
It is, it’s been getting more and more serious in Cork over the years as well. Not having IC players is just stupid, they play the vast majority if games these days everywhere else. The problem is alot of these guys are dual players.
Even without you IC players I really don’t get teams not taking league seriously. It’s not all about them and its a silly attitude. You play to play, not to play on days when some other lad is there to do it all for you.
Re: Laois and other counties. It’s a proper championship when done like that. It raises the standard as games are closer together.
