He would be as would Astori which is why I find it bizarre. Astori is playing for a bottom half table club and has never been overly impressive for them. He hasnât played too much for Italy but is quite rash and got sent off on his debut. Heâs just a quite limited footballer to be honest. It saddens me to see Bocchetti wasting his career over in Russia. He was a much more accomplished defender than both Bonucci and Ranocchia when they came through at the same time and has fallen off the radar since he moved to Russia. Italian clubs canât/wonât spend the fee required by the Russian clubs to bring him come. Iâd really like to see both Bocchetti and Criscito back in Serie A.
