As a neutral I must say the darts from the lakeside have been a breath of fresh air so far!
I didn’t think the tournament would reach that number to be honest.
You’d be better off checking that out just to be on the safe side. Bandage has been lying through his teeth on this thread trying to dress up this crap.
Exaggerating averages and bullshitting about TV coverage already in this thread.
The only factual error from me on this thread relates to Stephen Bunting’s Round 1 match average - I inadvertently said it was 97 (his average after 3 sets) rather than the actual 92 average he ended up with. Aside from that, I have been steadfastly dealing in facts and swatting away the inane barbs of the calvinist darts brigade with the minimum fuss.
As a Darts fan, i too have been very impressed with the standard in the 2nd round. Bunting v Fitton was a fine game last night in fairness.
The overall standard is still a bit behind the PDC imo but this years fare is def well ahead of other years viewing alright.
Bottom line, Darts is a great game.
35 pages already. Great stuff!
Is that the same Wesley Harms hammered by Barney in the Grand Slam of Darts?
It’s the one everybody wants to talk about.
delighted to see the dazzler through, as well as silverback and waites. i’d be happy if the winner comes from
one of those 3 lads
yep it is , have to say that wesley gf is a cracker
Wasn’t that the same tournament where the BDO’s Scott Waites destroyed PDC “World Champion” Philip Taylor?
I understand there’s a massive Wexford crowd after undertaking the pilgrimage to the Mecca of Darts to support The Whistler Cullen tonight.
The very best of luck to all of them in these treacherous weather conditions. Thankfully it isn’t quite as bad as the heavy snow three years ago when the Green Arrows were sadly deprived of the oppurtunity of supporting Marty “The Fox McCloskey” and Darryl Gurney when they played on the same night at the home of darts.
Are any of my fellow Wexicans in the county today? I’d imagine there must be a tremendous buzz about the place?
Backed Jennings, waites, Fitton and OShea on an accumulator. Paying close to 4/1.
Unbelievable stuff in the “dark match” between Jan and Garry. Deciding set tie-break.
No darts on Aunty again tonight???
Jan triumphs! They even exceeded the quality of their classic 2011 quarter final.
Wexford’s Jason Cullen is about to enter the cauldron of the Lakeside stage.
Jayo really exemplifies everything that’s great about Wexford. I’m swelling with pride here already. A lovely man, so he is.
