Jason’s scoring merits better here but his doubles have let him down. Paul on the other hand is hitting every double, perhaps helped by his greater Lakeside experience.
Ah Jennings is lethal on the doubles.
That’s class finishing from Jenno. 7/7 on his doubles to win the last 7 legs. Sure you wouldn’t get a standard that high anywhere else in the world.
Jason should have at least left himself a shot at the bull when left with 85 there but Paul’s finishing is astonishing. 7 doubles out of 7 now for the Latvian Open champion.
A hint of a wry smile there from Jason.
He wouldn’t finish his dinner this Cullen lad. Oh wait…
That leg was the very least Jason deserved. Keep plugging away and you never know.
Very bad form from the animal bastards in the audience, whistling there as Cullen was throwing at a double. The ref had to remind them to behave themselves.
We heard you the first time cuntspade.
I find a lady calling her husband by his nickname a rather unattractive trait.
“Come on Jenno!”
Attaboy The Whistler.
Another leg for The Whistler and we’re back to 2-2 in this set. Come on.
Very disappointing but what a tremendous learning experience for the kid from Ballymurn.
A rout. Very poor standard of darts, imagine a darts player as bad as Cullen reaching the last 16 of say the PDC World Championships. Could not happen.
Ah well. Hard luck Ireland’s Jason Cullen. Beaten by the better player but he’s given a fine account of himself at this World Championship. Hopefully we’ll see him back here next year.
Well done Paul Jennings, a superb display of finishing.
Jason Cullen would beat the likes of Kirk Shepherd up a stick.
Another good performance from Jennings but a tale of what might have been for Jason with all the missed doubles.
That’s a clamping if ever there was one.
The purveyors of Phil’s Dart’s Club love talking about averages. Didn’t Shepherd average mid 70s in his PDC “world championships” final?
Scott Mitchell is a lovely man.
Jackie Goethals - what an incredible life story.
“It’s a crazy game…darts.”
