It’s Richie’s partner Kim - they’re expecting in July.
I thought he was very impressive the other night too Thraw. Was Waites very impressive or his opponent brutal?
Hendrix and the Boy George level at 2-2, 2-2. A real Culture Club of darts.
Thank fuck ESPN have the coverage of this game, BBC’s constant veering away to Georges parents on Saturday was very annoying.
She is quite taking.
Hon young George, 3-2.
Just when you thought it was going to be Jimmy Hendricks on song it was, in fact, Little Richard.
Even at 53 I’d still give Marie George a lash, only for the fact that I respect Bobby so much.
Jimi used the previous two darts brilliantly there to guide that last one into double top.
Gripping viewing.
Great match.
Amazing pressure darts from both players in that final leg. That pissed all over Taylor v van Gerwen.
Tears of joy for the Boy George.
What a fantastic night of arrow flinging.
Weakest quarter final now with George and Dekker.
Young George has the same mannerisms as the auld lad.
He was very kissy kissy with mad dog Mitchell on stage there.
A mouthwatering quarter final lineup:
Fitton v Harms
O’Shea v Green
Dekker v George
Waites v Jennings
So many brilliant stories, so many brilliant players.
Ray Stubbs is a superb frontman. It was magnificent to see him reunited with Bobby George for those fleeting few moments tonight.
Dazzler, Silverback, Dekker and Jennings for me, if I’d to call it right now.
Jennings has a thousand yard stare vibe about him. I think he’ll do that bottler.
I think Dazzler’s weight plus his emotional investment in young Jimi Hendrix will catch up with him. Harms is a cool, clinical customer and I take him to progress.
Silverback to show Kong who’s king.
I think Waites will thump Jennings - the latter’s finishing to revert back to more standard levels and Scotty to tidy up his own finishing. If their finishing meets somewhere in the middle, then Scotty’s scoring power will be far too much.
Dekker v George is a very tough one to call. I’ll sleep on that one.
The fact we’re disagreeing on two matches and you can’t even decide on one shows the absolute quality of this tournament, imo. It’s been a corker and it’s going to get seriously hot over the next two days.
Fitton
O’Shea
George
Waites
Think Fitton could be a touch of value at around 10/11 or evens to beat Harms, will think about it more tomorrow. If he repeats what he did to Bunting, Wesley will not be able to stay out of harms way. It’ll be interesting to see how they price up Dekker v George. The young George will be underdog but by how much. Would expect him to be about 11/10 or evens and again think i would back that as i am on record here as not rating Dekker.
