I’ll admit Bandage, great night of Darts last night, really enjoyed it. Lakeside struggles with a lack of strength in depth unfortunately. Top 8 are very good players, the rest leave a lot to be desired i’m afraid. I was really impressed with Robbie Green, could have won with a bit of luck.

More shame for the pdc today - Kevin Spiolek was in court this morning charged with indecently assaulting a 14 year old girl during the 1999 pdc World Matchplay in Blackpool.
This is becoming a real pattern.
You can’t help but wonder what connection there is between the PDC split from the Beeb and the whole Jimmy Saville affair-something is rotten in the state of Alexandra Palace.

If she was alive today, she’d come to Lakeside and see Anastasia Dobromyslova, Trina Gulliver, Lisa Ashton, Deta Hedman and Lorraine Farlam competing and being treated as equals. She’d see the massive number of women in the crowd and the way they are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve - truly part of the darting family. She’d think to herself, “Yes, this is the kind of equality, dignity and respect that I sacrificed my life for. The good people at the BDO know their history and have taken the values of the Suffragette movement and applied them to darts. I would feel welcome here. I didn’t die in vain.”
Then somebody would tell her about the sordid carry on in the pdc - the skimpily dressed dancing girls, the glamour models blowing kisses to the camera in sexually provocative poses, players’ wives being spat on, the racism, misogynism and homophobia of the crowd, the “get your tits out for the lads” chanting, the eulogising of sex offenders.
Then a single tear would roll down her cheek and she’d realise she was better off dead.
Dekker is one smug looking cunt anytime he takes out a double. And what does the boy George look at everytime he throws, has the same gormless look on his face looking down to his left and more so when he hits a 180, brooding almost.
