Aylward for Reid. I think Reid does his best hurling further out the field. He didn’t seem to be moving freely at all when he was on though.
Tipp will win this pulling up.
Cummins is covering full back well here
Great improvisation by Corbett to shovel that shot to the net after missing the catch.
The Tipperary backs seem to collectively have the measure of the Kilkenny forwards so far.
Their defence is the reason I gave them the tentative nod tonight. I thought they were fantastic against Limerick and knew they would stand up here. Thus far, Mark Renton has been vindicated.
I’ve tipped both sides to win in different posts so happy enough with how things are going.
Not a great game at all. Limerick would beat the pick of them.
Nice little knee in the head there. Good enough for them.

Ah, here, you can’t say that. This is Kilkenny and Tipp - never mind the scrappy hurling, feel the intensity, oh the intensity of it all.
Lar’s gone.
Cheering an opponent’s injury is awful.
“We all have to get up in the morning*.”
- except those with no commitments and/or a day off work.
Corbett is a huge loss. He’ll be hobbling around the pub for a few weeks with that injury.
That’s a huge blow to tipp losing lar looks bad for them now
That’s twice Tommy Walsh has received a pass in acres, taken a look and then just lorried a high ball in.
Any one know who is the clown doing the commentary on Tipp FM?
Tipp have stopped playing since the goal. Callanan’s introduction is a disaster for them.
Tipps full back line keeping them in it kk should work a few points
Two bad teams
Uninspiring fare so far.
Half Time: Kilkenny 0-9 Tipperary 1-6.
Shit game. Two shit teams.
You don’t get muck like this from IB teams.
This championship really is Limerick’s to lose.
Should Kilkenny and Tipp maybe look at joining up and making one proper team?
