2013 Six Nations
the Welsh have won 3 grand slams and damn near reached a world cup final during our golden generation era. They wouldnt even register on a golden generation scale in wales!

I think some of our bring on the green merchants look down on wales cos our teams are better in the heineken cup
so this is not rugby country ??..

Just by contrast, I watched this game at the weekend. I can’t describe how much more entertaining it was than any of the 6 Nations games so far.
This sequence in the game was just brilliant.

what’s brillinat about it?

Well Genetically yes we are the same really, except they don’t have hurling and football. But while they have standout years, our record against them since the professional era started is pretty good. I should have finished my point by stating that we’ll generally break even with Wales & Scotland for much the same reasons.

Conor O Shea has distanced himself from the Irish job. 4 more years for Deccie surely.

absolute guff kev - we have multiple the amount of players that the small little principality has & why include the 7th and 8th most popular sports in Ireland into your argument

I was right about Kidney being a clueless charlatan all along. I think I’ve been wrong on this forum only 4 times in 7 years.

It could be more than 4 but you banned us from bumping threads you cunt :guns:

What were the four occasions, pal? When you proclaimed Wojciech Szczęsny as the best keeper in the EPL a couple of years ago was definately one of them

Much like Benitez won the Champions league with Houllier’s team, it is becoming more evident that Kidney is living off the fruits of Eddie O’Sullivan’s labour… Well called again, pal.

That Darts thread

Let’s not allow the thread to move off topic, chaps.

We’ve done alright against them in head to head the last 10 years say but they have achieved far far more, a bad reflection on us surely?

Gaelic football is the most competitively played game in Ireland TASE.

The Welsh would have a fairly big majority of scumbags in their country compared to us, so it seems soccer is growing there and rugby is suffering. Playing population wise I would have thought they’d be bigger. Ireland include tag rugby players for fuck sake in their participation numbers.

Ya, I agree, our lads bottled quite a few games, losing games when we have had the better players on any kind of regular basis is bottling really.

Personally I think the provinces do matter more to the players, no matter what guff they come out with.

wrong on all accounts Im afraid - all statistics point to football being way more popular than the 4 gaelic sports combined & there are more adults playing senior rugby than they do

nonsense poundage…nobody can be a charlaton in rugby pal…its impossible…everybody has a different opinion but they are all correct…thats the beauty and appeal of rugby…just like a guy can carry the egg in his hands all match and still be called a great footballer…or a lad can be picked up and lifted by 2 other guys and be called superb in the line out…

I’d love if the cunt was dropped. And announced his retirement from rugby football with immediate effect.
