As Wayne Mardle said - that 180 to start in the last leg showed that he was ready to be Champion.

I have. Its tremendous stuff.

It should be noted that in his eight appearances at the Lakeside, Gary Anderson exited in the first round on 5 occasions and in the second round on another occasion.

A Japanese player couldn’t even hold the darts in his hands in one of today’s games.

Bounce outs are down to a poor throw, Anderson was jittery. It happens. They happen.
If Bounce outs are all you can pick at, then the PDC looks the winner to me.

Delighted for Anderson he beat the two finalists from last year in Wright and MVG and showed his fighting spirit coming from behind against an in form Klaasen.I only had 20 quid on him at 6/1 but a great start to the year!

Aren’t the PDC doubles and trebles much larger than the BDO? As in the area to aim at?

It’s time for Gary Anderson to make the step back up and challenge the best now. One semi-final in seven appearances the best he could manage at the Home of Darts, Lakeside. If he wants to be taken seriously, he knows what he has to do.
