Thatâs a serious performance there from Monaghan, make no mistake Donegal really wanted this. Thatâs an Ulster title and a Div 2 title since Malachy O Rourke took over, impressive.
Comfortable six point victory for Monaghan. They are even more impressive than I thought - definitely Dublinâs most dangerous contenders I think.
Donegal look finished, theyâve brought nothing through in the last 2 years and a lot of their key players seems to be strugglin like Lacey, McGlynn and McHugh. Theyâre in for a similar type of season as last year.
